Antiparos main town venetian castle is a small in size but typical cycladic town fortification that served as a protection from pirate raids in the 15th century. One can enjoy the sight of old houses located in a circular way around the remains of the old fortress. It is as site worth visiting, due to its intense housing and narrow streets across the hometown that create a “bonded” neighbourhood. In addition, Antiparos has recently acquired its own Folklore museum where various traditional local items are exhibited. Join a walk with us and let us show you the details of those main town sites.
